  1. What time can the rentals be picked up?      They are picked up by appointment only.
  2. What time are the rentals due back?   They are due back by noon follwing the last nights rental.
  3. If we turn our rental in early, do we get a refund?  No refunds will be made for early returns, late pick ups or unused miles.
  4. How old do you have to be to rent?  You must be at least 21 to rent a travel trailer and you must be at least 25 to rent a motorhome. You must provide a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
  5. How long does it take to pick up a trailer?  It takes approximately 30 minutes to one hour to sign papers and go through the walk thrus thoroughly.
  6. Are the travel trailers and motor homes allowed in Canada or Mexico? NO They are only allowed to go to the pre approved destination on your rental contract.
  7. Are there any other places they are not allowed? Alaska and Hawaii and some desert areas , like Death Valley, as well as some off road areas. You will be liable for damages in the units are taken OFF-ROADING.
  8. What kind of fuel mileage do the motorhomes get?  Generally between 7-13 miles per gallon. Depending on driving conditions.
  9. What happens if we get a flat tire on a motorhome?  There is 24 hour roadside assistance. Simply call the phone number provided and help will be on its way. Please do not attempt to change a tire on a motorhome.
  10. Can I purchase extra insurance? Yes, we do offer supplemental liability insurance.
  11. Do you have generators for rent?   YES, Motorhomes have built in generators. There is a charge of $1.00 per hour of usage. Generators for the travel trailer can be rented by the day.
  12. Are pets allowed? Not usually. Special arrangements can be made in certain cases.
  13. Are there televisions in the trailers/motorhomes?  The Motorhomes are equipped with a 13" TV/DVD Combo.  The trailers offer a 20" TV with Satellite TV  as an added option for a small fee.
  14. Are we allowed to use the awnings?  NO Awnings are locked and you will be fined for their usage.
  15. Are there child safety seats in the Motorhomes? No , there are standard seat belts. You will need to provide your own child safety seats according to state laws.
  16. Can I tow a trailer or boat with the motorhome? NO. Towing is NOT allowed.
  17. Is it hard to drive a motorhome? No its very simple. Please see the section on driving tips.
  18. Can we get on the roof? No . We ask that you don't go on the roof or use the ladder.
  19. Is the water drinkable in the trailers and motorhomes? We do not recommend that you drink the water. It is best if you bring bottled drinking water.
  20.  Are there levelers provided for the Motorhome?  Yes  and we will show you how to use them.
  21. What if I have to cancel my reservation?  Simply call or email us as soon as you know. Your reservation fee will not be refunded.
  22. What if I get a parking or traffic violation? You are responsible for ALL traffic and parking violations.
  23. How much potable water is on board?  25 - 40 gallons depending on the unit.
  24. How much Hot Water is there on board? You will have 6 gallons of hot water, enough for one conservative shower. When used up it will take approximately 30 minutes to recover.
  25. Is there a first aide kit in the motorhome?  Yes there is a first aide kit in the kitchen as well as an emergency roadside kit in the exterior compartment.
